About CNLU

The Centre aims to provide a platform to carry out research projects, organise academic workshops, lectures, and conferences, conduct faculty development programs etc., and work towards the advancement of Corporate and Insolvency Laws in India. About CCNDNC
The CNLU-CARCIL National Deal Negotiation Competition on FinTech Laws is a practice-oriented initiative aimed at equipping participants with essential negotiation and transactional skills within the rapidly evolving fintech landscape. The Competition is designed to simulate real-world commercial negotiations at the intersection of finance, technology, and law, enabling participants to engage with contemporary transactional challenges.
The Competition will be conducted in a three-stage format. In the first stage, teams will be required to submit a negotiation strategy or preliminary deal brief within the prescribed timeline. Teams are required to register with an initial fee. Based on evaluation, the top 24 teams will qualify for the second stage, which will consist of virtual negotiation rounds.
The top 8 teams will advance to the final stage, to be held on campus, where participants will engage in live negotiation rounds involving complex, real-world inspired fintech transactions. Selected teams will be required to complete further registration for the advanced rounds. The offline rounds are scheduled for 05th September 2026.
The Competition is designed to assess negotiation skills, commercial awareness, legal reasoning, and adaptability in dynamic transactional settings. Prizes will be awarded, along with other recognitions.

Eligibility
- Students pursuing a full-time 3-year or 5-year LL.B. from a university recognised by the Bar Council of India or relevant statutory authority.
- Students enrolled in LL.M. programmes from recognised universities duly accredited by the UGC.
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate students in Finance, Management, Economics, or allied disciplines from recognised universities.
