CARCIL National Conference On Anti-Trust Laws (07 April, 2023)
CARCIL’s National Conference on Anti-Trust Laws was organized in collaboration with the Competition Commission of India and in association with JSA Advocates & Solicitors and the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). It provided a platform to engage in discussions on Competition Law in India and to gain a deeper understanding of the current state of Competition Law in India and its future direction.
It was a unique opportunity for participants to exchange ideas, share insights, and build new relationships with peers and experts from around the world. With a focus on cutting-edge research and practical applications, the conference provided attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing Anti-trust laws today and equipped them with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in this rapidly evolving field.
ABOUT THE PAPER PRESENTATION
The Paper Presentation consisted of authors from all over the country submitting their original, unpublished research papers for presentation at the Conference on the theme of “Law & Practice in Anti-Trust Laws”. The paper presentation session was a platform for authors to share their research and findings with an audience of experts and peers. The session was an opportunity to engage in critical discourse and exchange ideas, as well as to showcase the author’s contributions to their field of study.
The winners were given cash prizes and internship opportunities with Nihith Desai Associates.
ABOUT THE PANEL DISCUSSION
Professionals from the legal, academic, and business communities discussed the contents of the Competition Amendment Bill, 2022. The Panel Discussion was designed to connect educational leaders, academicians, scholars, research experts, and domain leaders to ideate and explore the current sensation that affects the dynamics of the Competition Industry. The panellists for the panel discussion were –
