About CNLU

About 4th CCNCSC
The CNLU-CARCIL National CIRP Simulation Competition is a practice- oriented initiative aimed at equipping participants with essential insolvency resolution, commercial, and strategic decision-making skills within the evolving insolvency and restructuring landscape. The Competition is designed to simulate real-world Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process proceedings under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy framework.
The Competition will be conducted in a three-stage format. In the first stage, teams will be required to submit a Resolution Plan within the prescribed timeline. Teams are required to register with an initial fee. Based on evaluation, the top 24 teams will qualify for the second stage, which will consist of virtual simulation rounds.
The top 8 teams will advance to the final stage, to be held on campus, where participants will engage in advanced simulation rounds involving complex, real-world inspired insolvency and restructuring scenarios. Selected teams will be required to complete further registration for the advanced rounds. The offline rounds are scheduled for 04th September 2026.
Team Structure
Each team must consist of two members who will assume distinct, fixed roles that mirror key participants in an actual Corporate Insolvency Resolution Process (CIRP) proceeding.

Registration Fee
- Final Registration & Resolution Plan Submission: Rs. 2000 per team.
- After Qualifying into Preliminary Simulation Round (Top 24): Rs. 3000 per team.
Eligibility
- Students pursuing a full-time 3-year or 5-year LL.B. from a university recognized by the Bar Council of India or relevant statutory authority.
- Students enrolled in LL.M. programs from recognized universities duly accredited by the UGC.
- Undergraduate or Postgraduate students in Finance, Management, Economics, or allied disciplines from recognized universities.
